Laser Safety Awareness Certificate Western Australia
Laser safety awareness training for Western Australian PCBUs to provide to workers who work with or around lasers.
Recognised by the Radiological Council of Western Australia
The course covers laser physics, classification, how lasers injure the eye and skin, control measures, labelling, protective eyewear, and obligations under WA work health and safety and radiation safety law. Workers complete reading material, short presentations and interactive quizzes.
Each worker receives a certificate of completion, giving you a documented record of general laser safety training.
This is general awareness training. It does not replace training on the specific laser devices, systems and procedures in your workplace. It is not a Radiological Council–recognised course and does not meet licensing requirements or replace the need for registration.
